Praxis Work
This week I’ve been working on my two final projects for Praxis, the Capstone project and the Final Thoughts paper. These are to highlight what I’ve done in the past four months and what I’ve done in the program as a whole.
This week during our Zoom call we had two alumni who talked about what the end of the program was like for them, and how to stay motivated. One of them talked about how they plan their days, and then grade themselves based on how they accomplished their plans. If he got less than 75% of the things he needed to get done, that was a failing grade, and we should be striving to get 80% or more of our plans accomplished.
Praxis Reading
How Will You Measure Your Life? Staying out of Jail. The way that we best stick to a moral code is by having a clearly defined one in the first place, and then not straying from it even when it would be easier to. It’s hard to navigate our lives with integrity, but it is so worth it in the end. Small decisions made today will affect us for the rest of our lives.

Youth Lesson
Habit 6: Synergize, is all about teamwork and collaboration, drawing inspiration from the incredible efficiency of nature, like how geese fly in formation, achieving more together than alone. Synergy means working together to create something better than what could be achieved individually. It's about celebrating differences, and recognizing that diversity is a strength, not a weakness. By valuing and embracing each other's unique qualities, we can achieve greater success and understanding.
To get to synergy, we need to follow a five-step process: Define the problem or opportunity from both perspectives, listen actively, share our own views, brainstorm together for new ideas, and finally find the best solution. Synergy isn't just compromise or cooperation; it's creative cooperation, where the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts. Whether it's solving conflicts with family, planning projects with classmates, or simply appreciating the diversity around us, practicing synergy leads to stronger relationships and better outcomes.
Art of the Week
This week I did some paintings! I’m still working on the peacock, but the other two were for one of my friends who moved away this weekend.

In the coming week, I’ll be going to a TedX and finishing my final two Praxis projects. I can’t believe the program is almost over!
That’s all for this week. Thanks for reading!
